About Us
The Pendleton Amateur Radio Club is a nonprofit organization mandated to create a healthy and safe environment. We are dedicated to the educational, public service, and fun aspects of amateur (ham) radio. We bring together kids and adults of all ages who share an interest in radio communication, technology, and community involvement. Our members enjoy connecting locally, nationally, and internationally while learning new skills and supporting public service and emergency communications when needed. There are no fees or dues, hence, no child left behind. Whether you’re brand new to amateur radio or a seasoned operator, everyone is welcome with open arms.

Mission
Our mission is to promote the education, public service, and enjoyment of amateur radio by bringing together people of all ages to learn, share, and communicate. We meet on the second Saturday of each month on the 2nd Floor of the Fire Department, where we display equipment, host occasional guest speakers, and provide hands-on learning opportunities. Through special events and by supporting communications for local activities, we strive to educate on all aspects of radio while fostering fellowship and having a great time together.
Vision
We envision a future where kids and adults alike discover the excitement of amateur radio and use it to build skills, friendships, and stronger communities.
